What the tale is about

In the Land of Fire, Mother Salamander and Father Salamander worry about their baby, Bukor, who refuses to hatch from his egg. Bukor feels safe and comfortable inside his dry shell, while his parents learn that forcing him out could be dangerous. Mother Salamander bravely leaves the familiar fire to seek advice from a shelled creature in the unknown world outside. Among green grass, trees, a rushing river, and curious animals, she meets a snail named Isla. Isla points them toward a porcupine in the valley, carrying the adventure into the next chapter.
