What the tale is about
Two brothers set off along a road, but kind-hearted Mik and mischievous Rop make very different choices when they meet a rabbit. Rop jumps onto the rabbit’s tooth, while Mik continues alone and soon discovers a tiny apple seed trapped beneath a piece of wood. Using his helpful way of making things decay, Mik frees the seed. With time, it grows into an apple tree, and the two friends share their work and kindness. Rop faces the unpleasant result of his choice and later feels sorry, while Mik enjoys the rewards of helping others.
