What the tale is about

In Medina, water has become expensive, leaving many families, especially the poor, worried about every sip. The Well of Ruma is the best source of drinking water, but its merchant owner charges whatever he wishes. When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) seeks help for the people, generous Uthman steps forward. He buys half the well, then the other half, and gives everyone as much water as they need without payment. By dedicating the well forever for the people’s benefit, Uthman shows how generosity and caring for others bring lasting good.
