What the tale is about
Lulu Coral smells delicious cookies and rushes from her room toward the kitchen at the speed of the wind. Moving so fast, she steps on the cat’s tail and crashes into her mother, who is carrying cookies and cold milk. Her foot is hurt and bandaged, giving Lulu time to discover that walking speed would have been quite enough. As her mother explains what is necessary is also enough, Lulu learns through soup, cake, and rest that moderation and the middle path are wiser than having or doing too much.
