What the tale is about

On a sunny day, Bekir watches a gray-necked dove soaring above the rooftops and notices his own shadow below. When he cannot step on it, he turns the challenge into a lively game by chasing Osman and stepping on his shadow, but soon the friends disagree about who has won. While searching for a neutral and trustworthy referee, they meet Ahmet. With Ahmet making fair decisions, shadow-chasing grows into a joyful schoolyard game for many children. The story gently shows that fairness is loved by Allah.
