What the tale is about
In the quiet streets of Medina, a swift grasshopper watches the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) enter a smoky blacksmith’s shop. Curious about the visit, the grasshopper investigates and discovers that the baby inside is the Prophet’s son, Ibrahim. He learns how lovingly the Prophet greets the blacksmith, embraces his son, and treats all children with kindness and mercy. Inspired by the hadith that those who do not show love and mercy to little ones are not among us, the grasshopper flies off to care for the younger grasshoppers.
