What the tale is about
Lulu Coral sometimes feels bored with himself and wonders whether being someone else would be more exciting, more fun, or better. He studies his reflection, clothes, and toys, imagining how different his life might be. In the kitchen, while his mother prepares tarhana soup and his father struggles with a pickle jar, Lulu Coral realizes how much he loves his parents just as they are. He understands that they love him in the same way and decides that being himself is best. The bedtime tale ends with a beautiful prayer taught by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), asking for love of Allah and deeds that lead to His love.
